Armand Beraru ארמנד בררו

A.AAFR ; A.AIPAS

Armand Beraru was born in Czernowitz (1932); in 1964 he came to Israel from Bucharest, Romania and is living in Haifa .He is a pensioner now, after 45 years of activity in the metallurgical industry.
Beraru took courses organized by the State Mint in Bucharest and was an amateur photographer for 40 years.


Since 1997:

  • member of "The Israeli Association of Photographic Artists" (IPAS) and owner of the A. IPAS degree
  • member of "The Association of Photographic Artists from Romania")AAFR (and owner of the E. AAFR degree
  • member of "The Tel Aviv Association of Art Photography"
  • member of the Israeli Association of Painters and Sculptors
  • honorary member of Romanian Photo Clubs: "NUFARUL"- Oradea, and "MIHAI DAN-CALINESCU" - Craiova
  • laureate of the The "Haim and Sara Ianculovici" Cultural Foundation

After retirement he started to exhibit from his works, and had a large number of nonprofit personal and group exhibitions in Israel.

His photographs have appeared in variable photograph, tourist and culture magazines, and have appeared in several television programs in Israel, Germany and Romania. Some of his works are permanently exhibited in institutes and cultural centers in Jerusalem, Tel-Aviv and Haifa as well as on Internet sites from Israel and abroad.
